Biography

So why create a blog? Basically I've loved baseball all my life. In Little League I played for Golden Valley, Minnesota. We won the state tournament when I was ten then again when I was twelve. When I was twelve we had the chance to travel to Indianapolis to participate in the Regional Tournament to qualify for nationals and then the world series. We did well enough winning three out of five games but not enough to advance. Anyways real awsome experience at a young age. At the highschool level I graduated from Breck in 2004. That year I think our class brought the school four different state championships, including football which I was apart of. Baseball however came up short two years running, my junior and senior years. Losing the state championship game twice. Quite painful I know... Currently I've completed one full year of my college education at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. I am taking my current semester off, and will most likely be transfering and going back to school in the fall. If all goes well I'll be at the University of Minnesota. I don't play baseball anymore, now I coach the 15 AAA Golden Valley Metro Team. Though I do sometimes wonder if it's too late to get back in to playing baseball... So I created this blog, mainly to help pass the time until I get back into school. I work two part time jobs right now, but obviously that's not very fufilling and it's a couple months yet before I start coaching again. This site is basically created for my hometown team the Minnesota Twins. Is 2006 the year? I don't know, there was many signs of greatness between 2002-2004, we'll see if that becomes a distant memory. For now I'll remain optimistic and be hopeful for the what the future holds.

Oh the nickname... caseintheface. Came from football actually. I think I was a sophmore and I out at practice. One of my especially idiotic teamates was pretending he knew how to punt. Anyways, he was kicking and shanked one right into my face. Luckily I was wearing a facemask. The point is that normally I'm a very cool and collected person, but if you're going to do stupid shit your going to piss me off. Mainly though, "Caseintheface" is what I was called in the hallways by my teamates.
